NSTC

NSTC stands for National Science Talent Contest. First of all,
if you are a student, you must have listened to NMTC, NPTC, NCTC, and NBTC. What are these things? And what are their benefits? How to apply for it? So today we will cover such questions, mostly asked by students.

 

What is NSTC?

Actually, in the world, one type of Olympiad is held for each subject such as math, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Our country, Pakistan also participates in these competitions, so for selecting students to represent Pakistan, There is a test called NSTC is held. From the result of the test, the team selects the top 50 students in each subject. Then, the organization organizes a camp for students who have secured the best in the NSTC screening test. In the camp, they provide guidance to students on how to give papers for international Olympiads, and they also train students on how to ask questions and many more. Then they conduct another test, and after a series of tests, they only select 4 to 6 students as representatives of Pakistan.

These Olympiads are only for four science subjects

NMO: (National Mathematical Olympiad)

NPHO: (National Physics Olympiad)

NBO: (National Biology Olympiad)

NCO: (National Chemistry Olympiad)

What are their benefits?

Firstly if you clear the screening test and complete their camp they give you a certificate, and if you are the one who has been selected to represent Pakistan, PIEAS will allow you to be admitted into their organization without any entry test.  And students who have been selected to represent Pakistan are also awarded money for their appreciation. And some foreign countries also provide you scholarships.
